Sikandra fort is located about a distance of 10 KM from city center towards west on the road connecting Mathura and Pandit Radharaman Satyavichitra Road of Agra.The tomb is built in red sandstone which beautifully crafted in such a way that it reflects the persona of the great emperor. Emperor Shah Jahan, had built the Taj, was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb in the Agra Fort where he had a view of the building erected for his deceased wife. It took 8 yeas and huge amount of money to complete its construction. Agra Fort in Agra contains beautiful mosques - Nagina Masjid , Meena Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Khas Mahal and Meena Bazar.
