How Much Does It Cost To Visit Bhutan From India
Bhutan is a landlocked country in South asia. It is geopolitically in South Asia and is regions's second least populous nation after the Maldives. Thimpu it its capital and the largest city.
Bhutan is majorly known for its monastries, fortresses and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to sleep mountains and valleys.
Bhutan is small, but its known as the land of the thunder dragon, as this country sees so many lightning storms as they are way up high in the Himalyan Mountains. Bhutan being a democracy still is a constitutional monarchy and country has a king.
Talking about the tourism in this country, it has a lot to offer to its travellers. Minimum amount of money one could spend in Bhutan is Rs.14,000. The price isn’t per tour, but per person PER DAY, if you plan your tour in the low season months, namely: June, July, August, December, January and February. If you want to travel in the peak season (from September to October and from March to May), then you have to take out of your pocket Rs.18,000. These are the rates if you want decent services. If you want your hotel to have more stars or your services to be more luxurious, prices will increase drastically, around $250 USD- $1500 USD above the daily $250 USD UStariff. Of course, the price may increase depending on the number of people who are visiting Bhutan. For example, if you choose to come alone, you will have to pay an extra fee of $40, and if only two people are travelling, the tax will be RS. 11000 per person. In terms of discounts, children under the age of 5 will not pay a fee - other than the $ 40 USD (the visa fee). If the child is between 5 and 12 years old, he has a 50% discount. The same will happen to students who are under the age of 25 and have an act stating that they are studying at a university, so they receive a 25% discount.
