On arriving at Khajuraho railway station/airport, check in at the hotel and get ready for a wonderful sightseeing tour of Khajuraho. Start off with a visit to the beautiful temple of Chandela Dynasty that stands as an example of their architectural splendour. Furthermore, you will get to explore other fascinating temples like the Lakshmi Temple, Vaman Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Adinath Temple and Chausath Yogini Temple. Chausath Yogini Temple is one of India's oldest heritage sites and is the sacred abode of Goddess Durga. Dating back to the 10th century, Lakshmana Temple is a beautiful temple structure in Khajuraho, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Also visit Adinath Temple that is devoted to the Jain tirthankara 'Adinatha' and is another UNESCO World Heritage Site amongst Khajuraho's group of monuments. Finally, you will return to the hotel for the night.
Have a good breakfast and then go on to visit prominent sites such as Devi Jagadambi Temple, Nandi Temple, Kandariya Mahadeva Temple and Duladeo Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva). Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is one of Khajuraho's most beautiful and largest temples and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It stands as an example of the marvellous architectural expertise of people from the medieval period. Visit Devi Jagadambi Temple, which is a cluster of 25 Khajuraho temples and one of the most finely designed temples in the region. Return to the hotel and enjoy a fascinating tribal dance performance and warm yourself around the campfire. Then get a good night's rest at the hotel.
Early in the morning, you will head to Kanha Tiger Reserve with one gypsy and a tour guide. Stay overnight in Kanha.
Early in the morning on this day, you will be picked up from the resort to the national park for an exciting Jungle Safari. You will be accompanied by a wildlife trained guide in our jeep. Kanha National Park boasts of being one of central India's largest national parks and was established for the conservation of various endangered species, including the Tiger and swamp deer. After the safari, you will return to the resort and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. Rest for a while and then proceed for an evening safari to Kanha Tiger Reserve and spot wildlife attractions like Tigers, Leopard, Barasingha, Wild Dogs, Hyena and other mammals. Late in the evening, you will be transferred back to the resort for overnight stay.
After a refreshing breakfast, you will drive to Jabalpur on this day. Arrive in Jabalpur and check in. In the evening, you will head to Bhedaghat to enjoy breathtaking views of the famous Marble Rocks that are situated at an elevation of 100 feet and cover an area of about 25 km. It is a splendid sight to behold these rocks reflecting the sunlight and casting the colours on the Narmada River. In the evening, be dropped at Jabalpur airport/ Jabalpur railway station for your journey back home.
